Game Recap
Milwaukee- 6, San Diego- 3 (10 innings) -- It looked like the top seed in Group C was going to go 0-2 early on, as San Diego's Brad Hawpe hit a 3 run homer in the bottom of the 6th, and Stauffer was lights out all game long, going 8 1/3 innings of 3 hit ball. But in the top of the 9th, he gave up singles to Rickie Weeks and Prince Fielder, then Corey Hart hit a 3 run shot to tie the game at 3. The Brewers added a 3 run shot in the 10th from Ryan Braun, as they escape with the victory.

Seattle at Florida

Jason Vargas (SEA) vs. Javier Vazquez (FLO)
Game Recap
Florida- 7, Seattle- 6 -- The teams combined for 3 homers in this game, as Miguel Olivo had a grand slam for the Mariners, and John Buck had a 3 run shot while Mike Stanton added a solo shot for the Marlins. The difference was the bottom of the 9th though. Seattle closer Brandon League inherited a 6-4 lead, giving up singles to Buck and Omar Infante, then getting the next 2 guys out. But he gave up an RBI double to Emilio Bonifacio. Tim Wilhelmsen came in to try and get Bryan Peterson out, but he failed as Peterson singled up the middle, driving home 2 and walking off for Florida!

Tampa Bay at Chicago White Sox

David Price (TB) vs. Gavin Floyd (CWS)
Game Recap
Chicago White Sox- 7, Tampa Bay- 6 -- Neither starting pitcher was overly effective, as Tampa Bay scored singled runs in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th innings while Floyd was in the game. The White Sox got 2 run innings in the 1st, 3rd, and 6th with Price in the game. This one was a slugfest, as 5 balls left the park. Casey Kotchman, B.J. Upton, and Sean Rodriguez homered for the Devil Rays, while Brent Lillibridge and Brent Morel homered for the Sox. Addison Reed struck out all 3 batters he faced in the top of the 9th, nailing it down to give Chicago the win.
