Game Recap

Detroit- 3, San Francisco- 2 (10 innings) -- A classic pitching duel in this one, with 2 of the best in the game going at it. Both went 7+, turning it over to the bullpens tied at 2. In the bottom of the 10th, San Francisco pitcher Steve Edelfsen gave up a double to Victor Martinez and an infield single to Alex Avila. The Giants brought in Gullermo Mota to pitch to Jhonny Peralta with the infield in, and Peralta singled to walk off and stun the Giants.
