Pitt QB Van Merloni played like a champion while Vol QB Almighty finally played like what he is…a freshman. Merloni completed 79% of his passes with no INt while Almighty completed only 44% of his and threw a pick that was returned 94 yards for a TD. With that, the Pitt Panthers have earned their first National Championship. "...Hail to Pitt, hail to Pitt 'til the victory is won..."
