I don't really remember God Emperor but am pretty sure I liked it better than #2 and #3.
When I read Dune in like a day, I remember rushing to get the other 2 that had been published at that time and being thoroughly disappointed (and confused).
TBF, I should give them all a try again but there is so many good books out there now.
