NEW LEAGUE RECORDS Jason Raymond, our "friend" from Tampa Bay, breaks his own record for passing yards (4,561), set in 2011. He has 4,879 this season.
Of course, *someone* had to catch a bunch of those passes. WR Dan Carlisle, a third-year man for the Bucs, sets a record for receiving yards with 1,764.
Detroit's Devin Branch establishes a new mark for passing yards in a game; he threw for 481 against Tampa Bay.
NEW FALCON RECORDS Randall Barker's 92.8 QB Rating establishes a team standard, breaking Donny Schwartz's 91.5 mark in '08. His 27 TD passes are also a team record.
Gilbert Boyer catches 6 TD passes to give him 29 for his career, which surpasses Darnell Keys's previous team mark of 25.
Devin Withers picks off 6 more passes, giving him 21 for his career, passing Kris Colon's team record.
COMMENTS
Well, it looks like we've found our QB! Randall Barker has a stellar season, throwing for over 3,800 yards with 27 TD's and only 8 INT's. Seattle, who we spanked 31-6, also went 13-3, and Detroit won their division once again with a 10-6 mark. Those two teams appear to be our primary obstacles to getting to the Front Office Bowl. Defending Champion Kansas City looks poised to make a run at another title. The injury to Gus Lang was a real bummer. He was on his way to an outstanding season. He had 47 catches, 696 yards, and 7 Td's in 7 1/2 games played.
