I installed this program called DualMonitor Tools - it includes a utility called Swapscreen which gives you the option to lock the cursor to your main screen. Fire up SS and then CS and you're good to scroll in all directions.

I ended up just getting used to using the ASDW keys to move around the map instead of the mouse due to dual monitors
