Lot of small things that add up. Insured at a lower rate and with lower quality coverage. Communities have less access to high-level medical care. Studies have also shown a racial bias in the treatment received.
And as Lathum mentioned, abortion access and how the law is applied to races plays a role. Rich people can leave the state. White people are not going to be arrested for committing crimes as we saw by the Duggar daughter. She had an issue that could have caused issues but was able to break the law.
