Ok, I'll take Sleep as my new spell for this level.
As for this room, I am guessing I should cast detect magic again to see what we can learn from the fountains, or possibly a hidden exit since there are no visible exits.
As for the two fountains, we could bottle one, one of you two can taste the other, and then if it's a good thing, all of us use it. Then, if we think other groups may come through the same rooms behind us somehow, we could poison the good fountain with the handy little flask I found in the chest.
