--Randy Savage cuts a promo in the ring to open the show, taunting the team of Bobby Eaton and Koko Ware. Savage challenges Eaton and Ware to find a partner of their choosing for a six-man tag match at Crowning Glory. (A, 93)
--Terry Taylor def. Rip Rogers in 6:34 by pinfall after a Five Arm. (C-, 54)
--”Dr. Death” Steve Williams def. Norman Frederick Charles III in 6:10 by pinfall after the Oklahoma Stampede. (B-, 74) After the match, Williams threatens the Moondogs and Jimmy Hart, telling them to stay out of other people’s business. (C+, 68)
--Adrian Street def. Robert Gibson in 7:02 by pinfall after grabbing a handful of tights. (B-, 74) After the match, Street asks Lance Russell if he’s seen “Gwendolyn” anywhere. Russell rolls his eyes as Street sashays back to the dressing room. (C+, 69)
--Jerry Lawler comes out to a hot crowd and hypes his championship win over Austin Idol on TV this past Saturday. (A, 90)
--Bill Dundee and Jerry Stubbs def. Roger Smith and Don Bass in 11:14 by pinfall after Smith was small packaged by Dundee. (B, 78) After the match, Dutch Mantell and Jim Cornette come out and taunt Dundee, saying that Dundee is literally a small bump in the road on their way to the Southern title. (B-, 74)
--Randy Savage w/Angelo Poffo def. “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant in 8:39 by pinfall after a flying elbow drop. (B-, 75) Savage and Valiant had pretty good chemistry and it lifted the match.

--Wayne Farris’ contract is up in 30 days and has told me he will not re-sign as he is a freelancer who likes to spend a short time with a promotion and move on.
