--Jerry Lawler comes out and taunts Randy Savage and his team’s loss in the six-man tag match at Crowning Glory. Lawler adds that Joe Leduc broke his leg after throwing him over the top rope onto an announcers table and Terry Funk loved blood and they were both ten times crazier than Buzz Sawyer and he beat them. (B-, 71)

--The Moondogs w/Jimmy Hart def. The Gibson Brothers in 7:32 by pinfall following Moondog Spot’s running elbow drop on Rick Gibson. (C+, 68) After the match, Hart hypes the First Family and says that he is working out the contract terms of new members of the Family and will introduce them next Saturday on Championship Wrestling. (B-, 72)

--Ricky Morton def. Troy Graham in 6:09 by pinfall after a missile dropkick. (C, 68) After the match, Morton hypes himself, saying it doesn’t matter if its Randy Savage, Jerry Lawler, or the Moondogs, he will continue his pursuit to be the best wrestler in CWA. (C+, 68) Randy Savage comes out and asks Morton if he was feeling alright today because it appeared he was called out. Savage warns Morton that the teeny boppers in the audience won’t save him from the Macho Man. (A, 90)

--Randy Savage def. Jimmy Valiant in 12:09 by pinfall after a flying elbow drop. (B, 80) Savage continued pounding away on Valiant after the bell until Ricky Morton came back in for the save on Valiant. (B-, 77)

--Lance Russell interviews Jim Cornette and asks him if he got rid of Dutch Mantell. Cornette says that Dutch Mantell couldn’t beat “that Australian Chihuahua, Bill Dundee” so he doesn’t need him and he can go back to Oil Trough, Horse Trough, whatever you call it, Texas, unemployed. He also brings out and hypes the newest member of the “Cornette Dynasty”, a debuting Manny Fernandez. (C, 64)

--Manny Fernandez w/Jim Cornette def. Jerry Stubbs in 11:07 by pinfall after the Flying Burrito. (B, 81)

--Adrian Street comes out and tells everyone that he is finished with “Gwendolyn” and challenges Lawler for the Southern title. Lawler appears and tells Street he is going to punch the lipstick off his face and accepts the challenge. (B, 82)

--Jerry Lawler def. Adrian Street in 9:46 by pinfall following a piledriver. (B, 81) Lawler makes his first defense of the Southern title
