--Bill Dundee def. King Cobra in 6:46 by pinfall with a small package. (B-, 74)

--Lance Russell interviews Cornette’s Dynasty as Dundee glares at Jim Cornette when leaving the ring. Cornette says that since Randy Savage is now a free agent, he can join the Dynasty. (B-, 71) Cornette then hypes Manny Fernandez’s AWA Southern title shot against Lawler next Thursday night at the Mid-South Coliseum at WrestleBowl. (C+, 69)

--The Moondogs w/Jimmy Hart def. Jerry Stubbs and Terry Taylor in 7:03 by pinfall after Moondog Spot hit Taylor with his bone. (B-, 71) After the match, Hart challenges Bobby Eaton and Koko Ware to a rematch of last week’s dirty win over the Moondogs. He explains how Eaton illegally stole Moondog Spot’s bone and used it as a weapon. (C+, 70) Eaton and Ware come out and accept Hart’s challenge as the Moondogs warily watch Eaton and Ware. (C, 63)

--A video is shown hyping the Fabulous Ones and their current tag team title reign. (C, 58)

NWA Mid-America Title Match
--Wendell Cooley def. Luke Williams in 6:55 by pinfall after a Wildcat Slam. (B-, 75) After the match, King Kong Bundy and Rick Rude hit the ring and attack Cooley. Again, Steve Williams makes the save as Bundy and Rude slide out of the ring. (C-, 54) Wildcat makes his fifth defense of the Mid-America title.

--Lance Russell interviews Randy Savage and asks him about Jim Cornette’s offer. Savage says he doesn’t have to show loyalty to anyone. He then tells Ricky Morton the only person coming from the top rope will be the Macho Man when he lands on Morton’s throat. (B-, 75)

--As Savage’s interview is done, Jim Cornette comes out with Manny Fernandez and says he respects Savage’s decision. Jerry Lawler and Ricky Morton then come out and interrupt the interview, with Lawler telling Savage and Fernandez that it would be best for them to send Cornette back to his mother’s bosom in Louisville, Kentucky. (B+, 88)

--Junkyard Dog def. Rick Rude w/Jimmy Hart in 7:41 by pinfall after the Thump. (B-, 76) After the match, Hart tells JYD that he will shock the world come Thursday night as Russell and Dave Brown wonder what that means (B, 77)

--Jerry Lawler comes out and hypes his tag team match with Ricky Morton against Manny Fernandez and Randy Savage. (A+, 100)

--Jerry Lawler and Ricky Morton versus Manny Fernandez and Randy Savage ended in a double stoppage in 16:20 as both teams began bringing weapons into the ring and Lawler and Savage both punched referee Jerry Calhoun, who was trying to restore order. (B+, 87)
