--Hercules Hernandez w/Adrian Street def. Porkchop Cash in 6:56 by submission following a full nelson. (C+, 70)

Pre Show Match
--Koko Ware vs Adrian Street in 7:20 by pinfall following a Bird Buster. (B-, 75)

--Jim Cornette comes out to start the show, explaining how promoter Eddie Marlin got tired of hearing him complain about the world tag team title match so he is giving Manny Fernandez a world title shot tonight in the main event versus the Junkyard Dog. (B-, 74)

CWA Television Title Match
--Bobby Eaton def. Buzz Tyler in 6:49 by pinfall after an Alabama Jam. (C, 62) After the match, Rick Rude and Jimmy Hart once again come out and challenge Bobby Eaton and Koko Ware to a tag team match Monday night. He announces that his partner will be fellow First Family member, Meng. (C+, 69)

--Bill Dundee comes out for an interview with Lance Russell and hypes his recent upswing in momentum. As he is about to finish the interview, he is interrupted by Greg Valentine. Valentine tells Lance Russell and the TV audience that he respects Dundee’s toughness but there’s a reason why he is called the ‘Hammer’ and challenges Dundee to a match later in the show. (A, 90)

--The Super Destroyers def. The Fantastics in 6:48 by pinfall after a bicycle kick by Destroyer 2 on Bobby Fulton. (B-, 76) After the match, the Destroyers are met by Barry Windham and Steve Williams, who are out for an interview. A face-off occurs but with no contact. (B+, 84) Windham and Williams challenge the Super Destroyers to a match anywhere, anytime. (B+, 83)

--Jake Roberts def. Don Bass in 7:49 by pinfall after a DDT. (B-, 76) After the match, Roberts says he is glad to be in the CWA. He says he knows a little about some of the new guys coming in and no one should ever trust them. (B+, 88)

--Lance Russell says that he is about to introduce a new CWA signee, Ted DiBiase. He goes into a spiel about how he is the best wrestler in the world and the Junkyard Dog should just go ahead and put the world title around his waist to save himself some embarrassment. JYD comes out and the two begin brawling around the ringside area. (A+, 100)

--Greg Valentine comes back out and introduces the man he wants to be associated with in CWA, Buzz Sawyer. Valentine says that with them together, they will be an unstoppable force, especially for Bill Dundee tonight. (A+, 100)

--Jerry Lawler comes out and responds to Valentine. He tells Valentine not to write any checks ‘his rear end can’t cash’. Lawler says he will be watching Valentine’s upcoming match with Dundee carefully. (A+, 100)

--Jerry Lawler def. The Spoiler in 10:06 by pinfall following a piledriver. (B, 82)

--Tony Schiavone interviews the current world tag team champions, the Fabulous Ones. Keirn and Lane say that as far as they are concerned, the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express have earned the right to be the #1 contenders for the tag titles. Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express come out and argue with the Fabs, saying that Condrey pinned Ricky Morton in the middle of the ring so that makes them one over the Rock ‘n’ Roll Express. (B-, 76)

--Randy Savage comes out and talks about his latest setbacks. He tells Lance Russell that the last time he looked, he wasn’t the one who was pinned in the tag team match with Manny Fernandez. (A, 89)

--Greg Valentine def. Bill Dundee in 13:18 after Buzz Sawyer distracted Dundee long enough for Valentine to recover and get a quick roll up. (B, 82) Sawyer and Valentine stomp a mudhole in Dundee after the match until Jerry Lawler comes out to make the save. (A, 91)

CWA World Heavyweight Title Match
--Junkyard Dog def. Manny Fernandez in 15:31 by pinfall following a series of dog headbutts. (B, 78) JYD makes his 1st defense of the world title.

--Change of plans. I need a Monday night show to complement Saturday’s show and to give more workers in the ring. I thought one show a week would be enough but its not with the loaded roster.

--Stampede is upping their game, signing Ric Flair to a PPA deal.

--I sign referee Tommy Young, one of the best in the world. As an aside, also Flair’s favorite referee.
