It is right. We have 2 dogs and I hate them. I almost kill myself trying to walk around the house because they're laying behind me and then I turn around and almost take a header into a granite counter top. And the fucking barking at everything that moves within a 4 mile radius of the house - I could rip their fucking vocal chords out. And we've got to get a damn dogsitter just to spend half a day out of town. It's ridiculous.
Cats are self-sufficient and don't give a shit about you, me, or anything. That pretty much makes them a perfect housemate for me. Leave me the fuck alone and acknowledge me maybe twice a day and we're cool.
As much as men love to bitch about women and vice versa, I don't get why cats are associated with women and dogs with men. Seems to me it should be the other way around. Or at least, you lose the right to bitch about women if you think a dog is a good pet.
