You can assign minutes to your starters and your bench, and the CPU will attempt to stick to this rotation when auto subbing. It does keep the hot hand in the game (and vice versa), and even if you set your rotation to 9 deep, that pesky 10th guy tends to find a way on to the court, but overall it does a decent job.
