Bose is back from his injury for this game. However, we have 4 players with minor injuries that will reduce their effectiveness: Johnson, Mallory (bench player who will never see the court anyway), Lloyd, and Bakari Lewis are all hurt.

SE Louisiana has more talent and this will be an uphill challenge. In particular, their defense can be suffocating. Daryl Arnold, their SF is a great shooter and we'll be getting Bose in early if he starts lighting it up.

A terrible first half for us. We couldn't box out and it killed us as they destroyed us 34-18 on the boards. That combined with poor shooting led to a 47-26 first half. Czepil is our leading scorer with 8 points on 3 of 6 shooting. No one else is shooting 50%.

We did better on the boards in the 2nd half, but we were just out matched. They had 3 hot shooters and they buried us. 81-51 win for them.

Their PG Chris Colvin finished with 20 points and 5 assists. He is rated 72 overall. Daryl Arnold who is also rated 72 overall had 17 points and 6 assists as Bose couldn't shut him down as Arnold is almost as tall as Bose an is much more talented.

Czepil was our only double digit scorer with 17 points on 6 of 15 shooting.

That loss drops us to 11-5.

We win our simulated game at UTSA 64-62. Boyce leads the tam with 10 points and 7 boards. Newton had 8 points and 8 boards. Lloyd wo is still hurt was 1 of 8 and only had 2 points and 1 board. Our next game is against 4-11 Sam Houston State.

We are at home, but they are a slightly more talented team despite the record. Tey are another team that can be suffocating defensively, particularly dangerous as I think I now have realistic sliders that make the midrange game more realistic to college basketball. Therefore Boyce and Czepil are my only really reliable options from midrange, although Newton has the potential to become a very good midrange shooter.

Their most dangerous player is their freshman T.J. Morrison, a SF who is rated 72 overall and can do many different things. He'll be a very tough player for us to stop.
