Otherwise that "all-time great" ought to do the right thing and let them find a coach that's up to the challenge of a P5 conference. Like most of those hired in his coaching class, that does not appear to be the case.
edit to add: And, hey, they can keep him forever for all I care. I have zero dogs in that fight one way or the other, couldn't care less whether Nebraska becomes relevant or not, I'm just saying how it looks to me.
