Notre Dame (Al Mighty) -- 9-12, 2-7 ACC.
1/26/28 at #3 Syracuse (L 75-60).
1/29/28 at Wake Forest (L 68-60).
Also not a good week for the Fighting Irish, who also lost both their games this week and have lost 6 of their last 7.
North Florida (Felix Abel) -- 12-9, 5-2 Atlantic Sun.
1/27/28 vs. NJIT (W 80-68).
1/29/28 vs. Stetson (L 77-64).
A split for the Ospreys who see their 5 game winning streak snapped with the loss against Stetson.
TCU (Bee Mighty) -- 7-12, 1-8 Big 12.

1/29/28 vs. Baylor (L 87-65).
It's looking more and more like this will be a coaching change in the offseason, as the Horned Frogs lost 2 more this week, and weren't really competitive.

1/29/28 vs. Marquette (W 87-74).
The Red Storm split this week, but can't pick up a quality win over a top 10 team. That's something that is missing from this seasons resume.
Northwestern (Ess Vee) -- 12-8, 3-5 Big Ten.
1/26/28 at Penn State (L 81-71).
1/29/28 at #15 Michigan State (W 65-47).
A split for the Wildcats, who beat a much improved Michigan State team, which snapped a 4 game losing streak. Next week a battle against #1 is on the horizon.
#12 Ohio State (Brett Hawkins) -- 15-5, 4-4 Big Ten.
1/26/28 vs. Nebraska (W 85-80).
1/29/28 at #19 Indiana (L 77-65).
Another split for the Buckeyes, who are also looking for another key top 25 win.
Wichita State (David Ginsberg) -- 15-5, 8-3 MVC.
1/26/28 vs. Indiana State (W 89-75).
1/29/28 vs. Evansville (W 84-60).
The Shockers win 2 more this week, as they continue to roll.
San Jose State (Thomas Shepard) -- 11-9, 4-5 Mountain West.

Just 1 game this week for the Spartans, another win. They are on a bit of a hot streak, but the schedule gets tougher next week.

A split for the Bulldogs, who played tough against the conference leaders, but couldn't pull it off. They do get a nice road win at Brooklyn though.

A split for the Seahawks, who can't win an important non-conference game, but do get back in the winning ways in conference play.

1/29/28 vs. Washington (W 78-52).
Much better week for the Cardinal, who get 2 much needed wins to break a 4 game losing streak.
#8 UCLA (Tim Shepard) -- 16-4, 7-1 Pac 12.
1/27/28 at #20 California (L 74-73).
1/29/28 vs. Gonzaga (W 86-63).
Tough split for the Bruins, who drop their first conference game of the season to a solid California team, but rebound nicely by hammering Gonzaga.
Washington State (DeShawn St. John) -- 6-14, 0-8 Pac 12.
1/27/28 vs. Oregon (L 71-68).
1/29/28 vs. Utah (L 79-50).
A blowout and a close loss, but the losing streak continues as the Cougars lose 2 more this week and are still looking for their first conference win of the season.
Alabama (Roy Rogers) -- 12-8, 4-4 SEC.
1/26/28 vs. Auburn (W 75-67).
1/29/28 at VCU (W 74-71).
2 much needed wins for the Crimson Tide, who have won 3 of their last 4. The win at VCU will be very crucial come Selection Sunday.

A pair of 8 point losses for the Golden Lions this week, as they continue to struggle, losers of 3 of their last 4.
Troy (Benton Gale) -- 12-10, 8-5 Sun Belt.

1/29/28 vs. #25 Georgia Southern (L 83-75).
A split for the Trojans, who can't get a big top 25 win, falling short against the best team in the conference.

1/29/28 at #18 Pepperdine (L 90-60).
Tough week for the Toreros, who had a chance to make a statement this week, but lost both games against ranked conference teams, and weren't competitive against Pepperdine. Their average margin of defeat against those 2 teams in their 4 losses this season is over 25 points. Not good for a team fighting for a postseason berth.
