Our most successful season ever from an awards standpoint. My second Northeast Conference Coach of the Year award, Northeast Freshman of the Year, an All-Northeast First Team player and three players on the All-Northeast Second Team. I think
Joaquin Bravo got robbed of the first team, but oh well.
We're losing two very important scholarship seniors this year in
Lance Tully and
Napoleon "Dynamite Flash" Gordon.

Great senior season, but he never really lived up to the expectations we had for him when we landed him outside of his final year. That said, he owns the Northeast record for most rebounds in a game with 24, 2nd all-time in Northeast career offensive rebounds, and 3rd in total career rebounds.

2013 High School: Rated *** and #484 overall by the FBCB scouting service.
He never made an All-Northeast team, but this Canadian, in my opinion, really did live up to his Dynamite Flash nickname. In fact, he's #2 in career points scored in Bryant history, behind only
Blair Isley. He also was 4th in career offensive rebounds, 3rd in assists, and 2nd in steals. Probably the most underrated player I've ever had.
Cortez finally missed on a Spanish recruit, as
Apolinar Marcos chose College of Charleston. We were right up there, though, which was impressive considering we got in so late.
We have two scholarships for transfers because
Gregory Tucker did indeed transfer out.
Our budget is once again going up and with it comes the ultimatum
to make the NCAA tournament, or else. Gee, thanks. Nothing like pressure.
But I've learned a lot here so far at Bryant. I've become a far better recruiter than I was before and developed a better understanding of the offensive side of the game.

Having only one player killed our recruiting ranking, but that one commit was a darn good one in my estimation.
We also continue our climb up the prestige level, now at 16, which puts us about the middle of the conference.
An extra $19,102 comes in through fundraising. I'm still not high enough on schools' radars to get a job elsewhere. Still, I'm only 39 years old, so there's still plenty of time to advance.
We go from having $8,750 a month for recruiting to $11,910. That's a huge jump.
Transfer Period
SG Mason Kahler, a former walk-on from Norfolk State, is transferring after his freshman year and is interested in us. Nothing more than a reserve, but he's extremely smart, so we offer him the transfer.
He accepts, but flier
SG Craig Audley goes to VCU instead. Junior
SG Truman Leonard, who walked on at Duke, becomes our second transfer instead.
