Okay, question(s) here.

With that "discovery", do you see what it could produce in terms of goods/trade/etc if it were populated with colonists? Or is that an extra step of exploration?

Ultimately what I'm trying to figure out here -- I think -- is whether an uninhabited island is a plus (if it had some other value) because you don't have to fight for it or is that a bad thing (either practically or from a role-playing perspective) because there's no one there to convert?
