Week 5
BYE

We have a few minor injuries that could use the week off. We take this opportunity to rest and recuperate. After the week off only one player on our team is too hurt to suit up next week.

Week 6
Atlanta (3-1) @ Arizona (2-3)
Arizona is on of the weaker offensive teams in the league. They do a good job of moving the ball, but they struggle actually scoring. They particularly struggle in the red zone, averaging just 3 points per visit. On defense they are slightly above average, but they have a very good running defense, so that could spell trouble for us. They are also good a causing fumbles, which is not good for Nixon.

This was the game of the kicker. Seven field goals were attempted by the two teams and they accounted for all of the scoring in the game.

With 1:03 left in the game the Cardinals were able to tie the score with a 31 yard field goal. This was a short drive thanks to another Leland Nixon fumble. But the defense held them to just three, preventing us from going down by 4 with a minute left. We were then able to orchestrate a 36 yard drive in the final minute that set up our game winning 47 yard field goal. We win 12-9.

In spite of his costly fumble, Leland played a solid game. He averaged 4.1 yards per carry, and finished the game with 150 yards in 36 attempts.

Week 7
Carolina 4-2 @ Atlanta 4-1
Carolina is playing very well so far this year, and I am not sure why. According to my scout, their RB is below average and they don't have a strong O-line. But nevertheless, they run the ball very well. Their QB should be about average, but his play this year has been pathetic. They only have fair defensive players. They don't do very well scoring, but they have found a way to win this year. At 4-2 they are right in the hunt for the division title, something that they have not done in 11 years.

The Panther's defense showed up and completely shut us down. Leland was held to a career low 32 yards rushing. Once we fell behind, we were forced to go to the air and we did little better there. Leland did add on a TD late in the third that made us think that we might get back into the game, but Carolina just had an answer for everything that we attempted. We fall 21-10.
