Post show notes

--Some of the promos on this show were lower than usual. Can’t figure out why. Maybe I need to get out of the Southeast a little bit.

--Junkyard Dog asks for a $1270 pay raise to what he’s worth at $3570. I give him the full raise, which makes him happy. I would say he’s worth it, we have some money to spend and it makes people happy.

--Lawler and Sawyer are sitting at an 86 on storyline heat with Dundee and Savage right behind at 84. Anything less than B+ rated matches at Night of Champions would be a disappointment.

--The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express have challenged The Midnight Express to the tag team titles but Cornette balks.

Game world notes
--Central States has lost two of their five TV slots for Wrestling at the Chase. The struggle continues for them. Naturally, I attempt a takeover and am rejected.

--A slew of upcoming retirements have hit the timeline: co-founder of the AWA, Wally Karbo; former WWF champion, Stan Stasiak; Bob Orton, Sr; Mae Young; Mildred Burke; Whipper Billy Watson; Tojo Yamamoto
