That's the best reason I've seen so far for the reveal idea, but I don't think it requires everyone to reveal -- which still just seems early in a game where we don't know all the consequences yet -- for example, Abe said that it might not be such a good idea to put our race out in public.
However, if we know how many types of skillsets there are, it should make it easier to believe whether or not 3 in the same role is believable.
Since I know for a fact (assuming that people have been truthful in the revelations so far) that two is possible, three doesn't seem like a big stretch to me -- especially when you consider that there was an open number for signup.
I suspect there are five or six skillsets that are repeated amongst us. Sympathizers included.
