You’ll recall that I am having my people auto-sign rookies for me. They signed QB Sam Marshall to just a two year deal. You’ll recall that he boomed in camp and looks pretty good now. Starter level. If I didn’t have my QB, I’d grow him into my starter and build around him. His only weaknesses are screen and deep. Before he leaves, I want to recoup some value, so I call up some GMs about Marshall. Someone will give him a home I hope.
I trade him to Albuquerque after they let th guy I traded them last year walk away. I get the 1/34 pick for him. He’s really good though:

That’s a solid QB prospect. Can’t diss that and really worth the 1.34 pick because you aren’t getting the top 2-5 Qbs in the draft, so getting a guaranteed starter potential QB is strong for 1/34 for a team that needs playoffs.
