Des Moines Menace (4-1-1, 4th) at Richmond Kickers (2-0-4, 12th)

Multiple attacks by Richmond leave a gap in my defense and they take advantage with a long range Cannon shot that beats Pressley. Pennington comes right back and nails a difficult shot from the side of the field. In these hot days, players tire very quickly and it was hard to get an attack going with so many people hunched over. Still, we had a chance to win when Cannon got the ball in front of the Keeper, but his Rainbow Feint was denied.
