A good start to the 2010 campaign to capture a victory away and take a cup match. Against Wolves we started slow and
Edwards let in an easy goal, which had me on the verge of pulling him. As time wore on however, he got into the match and made several of the saves we are accustomed to seeing from him
. Craig Conway made a stellar debut for us, taking man of the match and playing through an injury to his calve that kept him out of the Cheltenham match. Which was another one we started slowly.
One very positive factor I will take from the week is the fact that we secured each game with heroics in the 90th minute, the clincher in the Carling cup match coming with only 10 Men after
Silva received his second Yellow of the match. It is a given he will lead in yellow cards, but he has to be more careful when he is carrying one!
