The people of each nation, each faction, disagree about many things but all of them agree that the Shadow lies across all their lands and that it must be stopped. The only way to do that is to find those who serve it, no matter where they hide, and bring them to justice.
Today you bring forth Eagle Fan, accused by many of secretly serving the Dark One. He refuses to confess despite all the accusations and so it is decreed Eagle Fan will be put to death.
But what is this now? From among the crowd step out women dressed in colored shawls, the sisters of the White Tower, Aea Sedai. “This is one of ours, and we will administer our own justice,” they say. They bring EagleFan forth and you see that EagleFan was one of the Brown Ajah, an Aes Sedai sworn to fight the light. “Is she of the Black Ajah?” you hear the sisters whisper but then they take EagleFan away, their form of justice not to be seen by others.
When they return, the mood is somber. “EagleFan was of the Brown Ajah, and served the Light.”
