A solid start at both ends of the floor. We are up 9-1 5 minutes into the game.

Our shooting goes very cold as we don't hit any more shots for 9 minutes. Down 16-9 until we hit a 3 with 6 minutes to go.

A 5 point burst in the last 10 seconds after a 3 by Graves, a steal by Graves, and a 2 by Graves gives us a 25-20 lead at halftime.

Graves is the player of the half: 7 points, 2 boards, 1 turnover. He shot 3 of 8 in the first half.

Up 43-33 with 10 minutes to go as I rest my starters for a few minutes.

Our reserves lead a 10-0 run. 53-33 with 6:30 to go!

Great defense down the stretch. 63-38 win!

Simon is the player of the game. The big man had 15 points, 13 boards, 2 assists, and 2 blocks. He shot 6 of 10, 0 of 0, and 3 of 3.

Everett had 9 points, 3 boards, 3 assists, 3 steals, and 4 turnovers.

Graves had 14 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, and 2 turnovers. He shot 5 of 17.

Collins had 8 points and a board.

Adams had 6 points and 6 boards.

Snow had 3 points and 3 boards as he was 1 of 8 with 2 of his shots being blocked.

Our next game is against a UMass team that should destroy us. I decide to sim it. We lose the game 81-70. Worse yet, we lose 2 guys to injuries. Jerome Adams tears his ACL! His season is done and he may miss part of next year. Owensworth breaks his wrist and will miss 4-5 weeks. We are suddenly very thin inside.

Snow led the team in scoring with 14 points and 6 boards. Simon had 13 points and 7 boards. Graves had 10 points, 6 boards, and 3 assists.

We have 2 more non-conference games left. Our next one is at home vs a poor Cornell team. Even with the injuries, we are heavily favored against them.

As far as our new lineup, our coaches want us to go with an intesting mix, and I'm going to give it a try. 4 guards and a center - Collins will play PF with Snow starting at SF. We'll certainly be much faster than most teams..
