We start out very even with a 8-8 score at the 15 minute mark.

Around the 10 minute mark, the offenses go cold, but we have a 22-18 lead with 6:30 to go. Then we put together a run that gives us a 28-18 lead. However, they come back with a 10-0 run.

We go into halftime up 32-30.

Simon is the player of the half with 8 points, 5 boards, 2 assists, and 2 blocks.

Down 55-46 with 10 minutes to go, but a rested Simon is coming back into the game.

Down 65-55 with 5 minutes to go. This team just isn't playing well together right now.

A sudden burst with 1:16 to go to get us within 4, thanks to a 3 by Graves, but they respond with a 3.

Graves with another 3 to make it 68-64 with 59 seconds to go.

We get a quick steal.. set up the 3... Snow misses it!

We intentionally foul. They miss the FT's. Quick shot by Snow. He misses it but he was fouled.

He makes both FT's. 68-66. 37 seconds left.

We intentionally foul again. They miss the FT's!! They are a bad FT shooting team. With 20 seconds left, Everett breaks his man on a crossover and dribbles into the lane for a 12 footer! Tied game.

Our arena is going crazy.

With 1 second left, their SG hits a 3

We call a timeout.. get the ball to Graves for a deep 3.. he shoots, it rims in and out.

We lose 71-68. This is looking like it might be a lost year.

Naymick, their SG, was the player of the game. 23 points on 5 of 9 shooting from the arc.

Everett had 13 points and 4 assists.

Graves had 16 points, 4 boards, and 2 assists. He shot 6 of 11.

Snow had 5 points, 2 boards, and 2 assists. He shot 1 of 12. He just can't find any room for his shot.

Collins had 5 points and 2 boards.

Simon had 10 points, 10 boards, 3 assists, and 2 blocks.

Bogans had 2 points and 8 boards off the bench.

I sim our game at Memphis who is expected to blow us out. As expected, we lose 94-64. Snow led us in scoring with 14 points. Graves had 4 points, 6 boards, 2 assists, 4 steals, and 5 turnovers. He shot 2 of 9. Simon had 5 points and 4 boards in 15 minutes before fouling out.

We are now 3-9 heading into the heart of conference play. I hope we can pull it together and last year's tourney run brought enough good will to survive this disappointing season...

In recruiting news, the 5 star guard from Toronto amazingly has us as his #1 choice. However, Syracuse is in hard pursuit and I don't expect it to last.

Our next game is at home against a 6-6 Loyola team that is more talented than we are.
