It's not a bad area to visit. I kind of can't wait to relocate however (hopefully by the end of the year) out of the Northeast.
What do you consider a "major conference"? I've heard that it takes one more step to reach a power conference on your current path. Of course, the MAAC might be high enough in prestige to overcome in that. Just bleed purple (of course, the purple could be too much for some). Your success into minding the recruiting fields of Canada seem to reflect the large percentage of Canadian students, and even some of the professors, that the school has.
