On the eight day of the sixth month of the thousandth year the people of Metou elected Schmidty to be their king.

Schmidty took the crown that night in the great hall of kings with the face of every king in history staring at him from the walls. Schmidty was the eleventh king to take the throne. The longest reign in history was King Maxumus. His reign lasted nearly 60 years long....well 57 to be exact.

King Maxumus was a great man. He stood nearly seven feet tall. During his reign Metou nearly doubled in land mass to its current size of 70,000 square miles as Maxumus waged a very successful campaign into territory controlled by Metou's sworn enemies.

Maxumus died in his sleep at the age of 94. When Maxumus died Metou was said to be in a golden age thanks to his leadership.

The shortest reign is the history of Metou was King Dubb93. His reign lasted just two short years. During his reign Metou lived in fear of The Dark One. Murders more than trippled, the economy fell apart and eventually The Dark One himself was even able to murder King Dubb93.

When The Dark One murdered King Dubb93 Metou was said to be a great depression brought on by King Dubb93's reluctance to wage war on The Dark One.

Where will the reign of King Schmidty fall on the list of great kings of Metou? Will he end up near the top like King Maxumus? Or will he be towards the bottom with King Dubb93?
