It will be interesting to see what the all-cause mortality numbers are at. With the politicizing of COVID deaths, some states up, some down, we might never get a true number. I've seen 2.8 million as the rough 2018/2019 number in the US.

I had seen some numbers saying about 3.1 million deaths through mid November from the CDC. This will be a little low because not all deaths will be in the system for a while. With the rise in cases towards the end of the year it seems like the final excess mortality will be in the 750K range?
