WCCW STORYLINES - END OF NOVEMBER, 1983

Storylines with participants, in order of current heat and date of origin:

1. Backlund/Hayes v. David; Based on Slater/Orton v. Flair, MACW 1983 (David, Backlund, Hayes; September)
2. Kevin v. Buddy (Kevin/Roberts, now evolved to include Mike/Garvin/Mercer; August)
3. Brody v. Destruction, Inc (Brody, Sheepherders, Adonis, Akbar; June - evolved from "Destruction, Inc. Reign of Terror Storyline)
4. Adias Hires Bounty Hunters to take out Manny (Adias, Manny, Dusek, Kabuki, Funk; October - evolved to replace Bundy and Regal with Dusek and Funk)
5. Villano III mask challenge; (Villano III, Kerry, Tiger Mask; October - evolved to replace Rheingans with Tiger Mask)
6. Iceman v. Adams (Parsons/Adams; October)

-No new angles recently, but a number of them have been freshened up with new participants due to some comings and goings.
-Brody v. Destruction Inc. has been dying a slow death with Brody's injury, so that will be wrapped up soon. Hopefully Brody/Adonis will at least give us a quality match. Not sure what to do with Brody after that.
-Adias' bounty hunters angle is reshuffled, the current plan is to use Terry Funk as one of the guys trying to take out Manny, which should deliver a great match.
-After Villano III and Tiger Mask tour the house down on the pre-show of November Star Wars, they get a program together, where Kerry Von Erich will play only a supporting role.

WRESTLER CONFLICTS

-The following wrestlers are unavailable on these days, as they consider these companies priorities over WCCW:

-Bob Backlund (WWF; Sun, Thu, 4th Sat)
-Bruiser Brody (AJPW; Fri)
-Gary Hart (MACW; Wed, Fri, 3rd Thu)
-Junkyard Dog (WWF; Sun, Thu, 4th Sat)
-Michael Hayes (WWF; Sun, Thu, 4th Sat)
-Roddy Piper (WWF; Sun, Thu, 4th Sat)
-Terry Funk (MACW, AJPW; Sun, Thu, Fri, 4th Sat )

-I've scheduled this month's big show Christmas Star Wars, for Wednesday of week 4, meaning our only conflict is Gary Hart with that show. A bigger issue than conflicts of course, is the non-WCCW workload of guys. A guy like Terry Funk could potential wrestle up to 5 nights a week.

WRESTLER COMPLAINTS

-Jim Duggan is unhappy about how long it's taken to use is loan contract appearances
-JYD is unhappy about how long it's taken to use his loan contract
appearances
-Manny Fernandez is unhappy about how often he has not been used on shows
-Steve Regal is unhappy about how often he has not been used on shows
-The Great Kabuki is unhappy about how often he has not been used on shows

It was bound to happen, our roster got so bloated that people are getting annoyed that they're not getting used. Hopefully, the 3 wrestlers we're firing today, as well as the 2 soon to leave after their loan contracts will up will help alleviate things.
