There's an AI team (glitch?) sitting on the clock at 1.3... I'm at 1.4, so I have a fairly clear picture of what we have to do with this pick. I have posted it for a trade-down... to no avail.
I expect pick 1.3 will be the top receiver available. I make the next best receiver as the fairly obviously next best guy.
If this league had free flowing trading, I'd think that guy could be a "I draft him, he does well enough in training camp, and then I get at least two 1sts for him" sort of player - max value. However...if I cannot even deal the pick when he's all but on the clock... ugh.
Add to that that if I were to just "take my guy" I would generate something of a Clelin Ferrell moment... with pick 4 YOU DID WHAT?
So, here we are. I'm stuck on what to do. Non-affinity BPA wideout seems like the obvious play here. I would so much rather get reasonable value to deal down to, say, pick 8-12 and take my reach guy there.
