The QB shuffle is life in the current era. Hell, it happens at UT and we all know they don't have a QB older than FR on the roster that's worth a damn.

Pretty much
Its reaching the point where it's almost better to hold a spot for a transfer if you can't land a HS QB you really like. And the days of landing 2 good HS quarterbacks in the same class are over unless you're part of a small handful of schools.
For 80% of P5 schools it's just a giant game of musical chairs.
