31 Oct – I pull colonists from Yamdena and I send them to Nias on the outside of Atjeh island, these are low dev and can be entry points into the Indies. As soon as it’s set up I’ll add Mentawai on the other side here, then I’ll pull off Mentawai and send them t the Spice Island of Belitung
1 Jan, 1555 – Our military adviser passes and I hire another one that bumps my manpower.

That drops my tech penalty a bit! I can now get:
