Our diplomat has been caught fabricating a claim on Trebizond. We appear to be bad at this subterfuge thing.
A unit of cavalry is being trained to join the 2nd Army.
A Galley is under construction to join the 1st Fleet, which is currently patrolling the Eastern Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.

Our claim on Trebizond has been completed. However, Trebizond is under siege from Crimea. Trebizond was aiding Theodoro in a war against Crimea, but all looks nearly lost for both nations.
The Georgian War of Gazikumukh Subjugation
With no reason for war, but the need to eliminate a rival, King Vakhtang IV has declared war on the small Shia Sultanate of Gazikumukh.
We lose 2 stability (-1) and gain 2 war exhaustion.
Mission Complete: Relations with Circassia improved. We gain 3 prestige (37)
Current Mission: Claim the Crimean province of Kuban. A diplomat has been sent to do just that.

Our diplomat has already been caught in Crimea. We are really bad at this.
On a positive note, the Gazikumukh provinces of Tarki and Khundzia are under siege.
In local news, both Theodoro and Trebizond are now vassals of Crimea.
Event: Local Pretender Rises
In order to ensure the glory of our country we have had to restrict local privileges. The problem with privileges is that people get very attached to them for sentimental reasons. Now, some power hungry idiot has declared himself the true ruler of Georgia and many hopefuls flock to his banner because he has promised to restore local privileges.
5 Pretender regiments rise up in revolt in Abkazia, loyal to Bakar Kvinitadze.

In more local news, Shirvan has become a vassal to Qara Qoyunlu.
Our siege of Tarki continues, but the 1st Army has left Khundzia to take care of the pretender threat in Abkhazia.
We have also spent the necessary administrative power to make Adyghe a core province, this will take about a year to finalize.

The Pretender has been struck down, humiliated and hung in the Kartli city center.
November 1448
The 1st Army returns to Khundzia and resumes their siege.
March 1449
We have discovered that Lithuania is now under a personal union under Poland. While our royal marriage is intact, our alliance has been dissolved because of this union.

Sultan Shamkal Kumukh has accepted peace.
Gazikumukh will pay 55 ducats.
Gazikumukh will become a vassal of Georgia.
