The Georgian Conquest of Mantrega
King Vakhtang IV, now 69 years old and knowing his already outstanding legacy could use some more padding for the annals of history, has decided to declare war on Genoa for the province of Mantrega. With a claim on Azov, this could also be a target if things work out. The combined Georgian-Crimean-Theodoran armies have Cafa and Mantrega surrounded.
There is very little room to maneuver for Genoa's 5,000 troops.
The issue is... will France come at us?

Event: Petition for Redress
Peasants typically had no voice, but they could occasionally gain access to the monarch and ask for redress. Sometimes, these requests for redress would be directed at the local lord who was perceived to be violating the peasants' rights. Stepping in to override a noble's authority was a very drastic step.
King Vakhtang IV has denied the petition. 5 Peasant regiments rise up in revolt in Adyghe.

Genoa will cede Mantrega to Georgia.
Genoa will pay four ducats.

Mantrega is the small peninsula province on our northwest. Was it worth a five year war? We think so. It took 4 1/2 years for France and Bohemia to turn our attention on us and while they did inflict massive casualties on our armies, we had already had enough to take the province.
