The Georgian Conquest of Nogai

The truce has finally come to an end after 15 years and King Giorgi VIII has turned his vengeful gaze back toward the Nogaybak peoples. With the armies in position along the Georgian/Nogai border, the warmongering Georgian monarch has once again entered war, this time with the intention of subjugating Nogai and all of its people.

With war declared, the 1st Army marches for Nogay, the capital, while the 2nd Army heads for Yaik.

October 1581
Excellent news as Kuma, Manych and Sarai are all now considered part of Georgian patrimony.

Missionaries head to Kuma and Sarai to begin the process of conversion.

November 1581
After just 109 days we have won the siege of Nogay.

December 1581
The 1st Army marches on Alimuly and wipes out the Nogay army of 7,000.

January 1582
After just 190 days we have won the siege of Yaik! The 2nd Army now marches on Utva.

March 1582
The 2nd Army splits and the other half heads for Bayuly.

Event: Religious Uproar
According to the governor of Sarai, the citizens are in an uproar because of our missionaries' complete lack of respect for any religious practices or traditions different from their own. He is asking us to considering canceling all further missionary activities in the area or at least send some troops until things calm down a bit.

King Giorgi VIII doesn't place much importance on the matter.
