CL Gabriel Prado Award Winner Announced

Brooklyn Brownstones have a rising superstar or maybe even a budding Hall-of-Famer in the making.
It's
Harry Marchand, this year's Continental League Gabriel Prado Award selection. This blossoming hurler wowed fans, peers and sportswriters with a fabulous performance.
Marchand compiled a 16-5 record in 35 starts, tallied 199 strikeouts in 217 innings and recorded a 2.20 ERA. Other clubs managed only a .220 batting average against him.
RL Presents Outstanding Pitcher Award

The Gabriel Prado Award for 2210 has been presented and the Republic League winner is
Ramón Germán of
Atlanta.
"It's always nice to receive an award like this," said Germán. "I just hope I can improve on my performance next year and be in the running again," the Indians star told reporters.
Germán excelled with an impressive 20-9 record in 32 starts. In 227 innings he yielded 191 hits and 49 walks, while striking out 179 and compiling a fine 2.78 ERA.
