SAA Conference Championship - Bear

Bear texted us last night (2/7) to make sure the number he had in his phone for Coach Andy (club team coach) was still good. He wanted to let him know he was about to start his final meet and to thank him. I'm assuming he did the same for the Coach

I wanted to record this here, because I thought it was a classy move, and one Bear felt compelled to do without any prompting. I also feel that it helps to illustrate some of the impact swimming has and how the sport seems to become your life. I guess when you spend so much of your time with the same people doing the same things in order to improve fractions of a second - ultimately you can't help but develop a family like relationship with those around you.

I think this is going to be harder than I expected. I know that the wife teared up when she found out why Bear wanted Coach Andy's number.
