(New York) In a move that surprised very few observers, Combat Supercell Alliance (CSA) announced today the acquisition of controlling interest in European based promotion Signature Martial Arts (SIGMA).

At a Monday morning press conference, CSA owner Joseph Steven said he was looking forward to bringing the excitement of the CSA brand to destinations across Europe and that he was confident the move would be positive for not only MMA fans around the world but for CSA both competitively and financially.

SIGMA was reportedly on the verge of being forced into bankruptcy by creditors who were owned an amount believed to be in the neighborhood of $750,000 (US).

If you've been following this thread then the purchase really shouldn't be a surprise. I seem to be on a mission to acquire every fighter in the universe under contract one way or another (although the talks with Hassan Fezzik ended once his demands went north of $700k per fight with a 90%+ win bonus).

With the sudden addition of more than 70 new fighters to our stable, the largest roster shuffle in CSA history took place. Several more changes will be made after already announced events for all three promotions are completed, with several fighters likely to be promoted to CSA briefly over the next few weeks for the purpose of granting them their unconditional release.
