1st half
- Striker Dave Hibbert received a pass beyond our defense and just outside of the box he fires a shot past Krysiak to give them a 1-0 lead. We got jobbed on that goal as he was clearly offside.
- We have a few chances but are outplayed and trail 1-0 at the half.

2nd half
- Craddock on for a poor performing Corbett to start the second half; he moved to center midfield, McGrath will play a defensive midfield position and Austin moves to right defender as we change to a 3-5-2 due to our lack of available defenders.
- In the 56th minute Hibbert is at it again as he takes a long counter attack pass into our zone and brings it down the right wing; he fires a perfectly placed shot into the upper left corner of our goal to give them a 2-0 lead. We were just starting to put some good pressure on them too.
- In the 60th minute Gilroy takes a corner from the right wing and fires it into the box were James one touches it into the nt... GOOOAAAALLLL!!!! We are back to within a goal at 2-1.
- Maghoma on for an injured Craddock in the 68th minute.
- In the 80th minute Pearson had a great chance from deep in the box but the keeper made the save and the defense cleared it for a corner.
- We are unable to get the equalizer and fall 2-1.

Man of the Match: Shrewsbury striker Dave Hibbert was man of the match; he scored both Shrewsbury goals, had an 8.8 match rating and had 5 ot the team's 7 shots on target.
