It's a good thing colorwise that Richard Rameriz is in the lineup because he's Orange/Yellow compared to Jerry Parteneau's Red/Yellow. Does this mean a SoCon surge is ahead?

British point guard Ivan Pugh is a 3* prospect with a ridiculous 5.92 A/TO ratio, so he gets the full press to try and bring him in, while I go and evaluate him and the rest of the point guards still uncommitted.

Game 13: vs UT-Chattanooga
Excitement is high after last game's blowout and the insertion of our new starting point guard. But it's the same sad story in a 65-84 rout. Richard Rameriz scores 10 in his debut, but Bobby Henry (11 points, 1 steals), and Antony Holmberg (14 points) top him on the scoring chart.

Game 14: vs Appalachian State
70-63 upset pulls us back to .500 in SoCon play. 15 points from Earle Vega, 10 bench points from Colin Ogden, 13 points and 5 rebounds out of Antony Holmberg. But it's Andrew Peters and his 9 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 steals that weirdly earns Player of the Game. Don't care. Won game.

Game 15: @ Georgia Southern
At least we're playing .500ish? 51-71 downing to toss aside Bobby Henry's 13 point, 10 rebound, steal double-double and Antony Holmberg's 10 points and 8 rebounds.

Game 16: @ Samford
Rough 68-76 loss in spite of fabulous 19 points, 8 rebounds from Antony Holmberg, 13 points, a block and a steal from Andrew Peters, and 12 points and 2 steals by Richard Rameriz. Worse - Earle Vega re-sprains his knee and is day to day.

Game 17: vs Elon
What happens when we have a winnable game? We lose, of course! 75-79. 6 points, 10 rebounds, 2 blocks and a steal from Andrew Peters, our best defensive playmaker. Inefficient 12 points, 6 rebounds by Bobby Henry, and 10 points out of Earle Vega.

Game 17: @ College of Charleston
Cougars are still mad about Kory Nelson, and they claw us, 53-83. Nothing good to report, either.

Game 18: @ Western Carolina
65-57 win as we clip the Catamounts. Antony Holmberg with 19 points, Andrew Peters on 6 points, 11 rebounds, Bobby Henry netting 11 points, 7 rebounds and a steal, but it's Richard Rameriz's 5 of 7 night for 14 points that earns PotG honors.

Game 19: vs Wofford
Antony Holmberg rampages for 22 points and 11 rebounds as we pull off a 71-63 upset and have our first win streak in forever, maybe ever. No PotG shenanigans here, as they're all his. Bobby Henry is also great with 19 points. Jerry Parteneau does sprain his ankle, however, and is day to day.

Game 20: vs Appalachian State
Three in a row was too much to hope for in this 45-61 defeat, and only Antony Holmberg's 11 points, 8 rebounds and a steal came ready to play.

Still, through January we've tied the 4 conference wins from our first season, and we're the only offer on R/Y Ivan Pugh. Sniffing behind is Pittsburgh, BYU, Maryland, and Kansas. Pugh's defense sucks something awful, but if the scouting is accurate, he's our best pure floor general right off the bat, and it's not close.
