Note: I had planned to wait until the rookie draft was finished to post a recap, but as the draft is now entering its third week in real time, it has become a complete farce and is rather absurd for me to sit back and actually try to wait this out. So - above is my synopsis of the two picks we have made so far, and we will hope to get through the fifth round perhaps by Monday night or so.
I am really *trying* to keep this interesting for a potential reader... but I also recognize that this is very difficult to do, when even the league owners themselves can't manage to stay involved enough to drop by to make a draft pick (or even to put in a few names into the draft tool, which lets you queue up players in advance... or even, failing that, to just ask for picks to be made automatically in their absence).
Writing this thread has increased my interest in this team -- but I'm starting to feel like this investment of time and effort has been poorly placed.
