Sixth Round Continues
Our fitful front office decided to move up and grab the one remaining player we coveted, WR Dave Worcester. Worcester is a “tough guy” receiver – his primary skill seems to be going over the middle. He looks like he might have some possible utility as a deep reserve at WR, and he also has some punt return skills. If he happens to break out and improve – then we might be talking about a real contributor. For the price of a couple of seventh round picks, I’ll give him a look. He wasn’t even by the phone to take the “we picked you” call. Mel Kiper said “what the hell is Chesapeake thinking here?” I’m pleased.
