Week 5: Mrytle Beach at Chesapeake
Myrtle Beach comes in at 2-2, and we seek to hold serve at home. They have been an up and down team – last year they posted a losing record, but the year before they were 11-5. We have a fairly balanced game plan in place, and will be looking to QB Harry Ross once again.

Great showing – clearly our best game of the year. 200 yards on the ground – I can’t even recall the last time we saw a level like that. And Ross was exceptional in the passing game, too, spreading the ball around masterfully well. We really clicked here, great game.
Next game is at 4-1 Portland, and shapes up as a huge early season divisional battle. Portland has gotten their ship straightened out in a hurry, and are suddely right in the picture for the division title which we wish to claim. A loss here puts us two and a half games back – not the best spot to land in. Big game.
