"Happy Hour" (2p-closing at my local) special at Hardee's is surprisingly solid cheap lunch. It's the "double slider" for $1.00 (reg. price is $1.75).
Don't think of it as a Krystal/White Castle competitor, it's more of a "this vs McDouble" kind of thing. And at the special pricing, it kills the Mc2.
