Soichiro Nishi. He's the latest winner of the Continental League Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award.
During his first year in the league, the 23-year-old
Nishi hit .304 with 188 hits, 32 home runs, 102 RBIs and 88 runs scored. He also walked 15 times on his way to a .342 on-base percentage.

José Acuña, was hailed today as the winner of the 2152 Republic League Benny Myers Rookie of the Year Award.
Acuña finished his freshman season hitting .292 with 29 home runs, 95 RBIs and 78 runs scored.
