This is far and away the most important change. This completely changed the game.

The only other thing I'd add is that recruiting simply seems more difficult in general. If you're a 90+ prestige school you can't just go land every player you want and have your pick of the entire nation in prospects. Some players just aren't coming to your school. Some seem to have heavy preferences to stay local and you aren't going into someone else's state and taking them. Some it seems inexplicable.

Sometimes this feels a bit random and out of control, but most of the time it feels pretty ok, and certainly makes it a little harder to make the final four 15 years in a row. In the original game w/ steals the way they were, a final four every single year was not unheard of.
