The Psych Sheet is out for the Last Chance Meet, and it appears that some of the parents didn’t read the signups very carefully. This event is only supposed to serve as a last chance to get a state cut, meaning if a child already has a cut, they aren’t supposed to swim that event in this meet. But there are several kids who already have cuts who will be swimming. Here is where my kids stand…

Bailey

200 Free – 2:50.84 – cut time 2:49.09 – Bailey is the fastest of all the swimmers in the event to not have cut

50 Free – 33.96 – cut time 33.49 – There are only 6 kids with a faster time then Bailey that don’t have a cut

50 Back – 39.96 – cut time 38.49 – Only 5 kids closer to a cut in this event

100 Free - 1:14.94 – cut time 1:14.59 – Bailey is the 3rd fastest not to have a cut in this event.

Bear

200 Free – NT – cut time 2:46.69 – This will be the first time he’s ever done the event

100 IM – 1:26.94 – cut time 1:24.99 – Only 4 kids faster without a cut

50 Free – 35.69 – cut time 33.39 – Quite a few here looking for a cut, Bear is about 11 back

50 Back – 40.48 – cut time – 39.89 – Only 3 kids closer to the cut

100 Freestyle – 1:18.05 – cut time 1:16.09 – 7 in front of Bear in this event

50 Breast – 46.70 – cut time 45.79 – 5 closer to the cut here

Brett

200 Breast – 3:18.94 – cut time 3:15.99 – Brett is the closest 11 year old not to have the cut. There are four 12 year olds with faster times trying to get their state cut (which is 9 seconds faster than the 11 year old time)
